A very unique war movie. Audie Murphy plays himself in his own true story based on his real-life experience and heroism during his command in WWII. Nothing short of awesome. A good, patriotic film. Griping, and inspiring giving the war a human face. One of the best of the WWII films. 

Based on the novel by Harper Lee, Gregory Peck won an Oscar for his role as a lawyer in a backward southern town, who finds himself defending a black man he believes is innocent of the charges of rape. Peck must find the crucial evidence and convince angry lynch mob of this man's innocence - or his client will surely die. Justice and injustice, racial predjudice and integrity are masterfully laid out for the viewer to ponder and love. Add this classic to your video favorites.

The film depicts the true and publically documented story of the three young shepherd children to whom the Blessed Mother appeared to in a field while herding their sheep in 1906. The suffering they endured at the hands of the athiestic authorities and even their own families and friends when their secret is discovered.  The special effects for 'The Miracle of the Sun' seen by over 75,000 people who heard of the miracle prediction and came to witness it as they packed the small hilly field where Our Lady had been appearing to the children.  The miracle was seen by both the faithful and unbelievers alike and which even made headlines in the communist paper O SECULO! 
Gilbert Roland adds his talents as the mischievous but charming "Hugo"  This is a film worth seeing for the sheer wonder of the true story it is based upon.

The part of Bernadette is wonderfully and believably performed by Jennifer Jones. You can't watch this film and not be inspired!

A gripping ~ very believable story based on a play by Marcelle Maurette and Guy Bolton. 
Ingrid Bergman in one of her best performances as a the mysterious look-alike amnesiac hand-picked by a White Russian general (Yul Brynner) in 1928 to fake the long lost and rumored to be alive ~ Anastasia. 

Anastasia was rumored to be the only survivor of the Bolsheviks' murderous attack on the czar's family. Yul Brynner tries to capitalize on the rumor by materializing the missing heir to the family's fortune. The story has a familiar hint of "My Fair Lady" when the chemistry between Yul and Ingrid begin to mix.
But things get very interesting as the amnesiac woman plays the part ~ only too well! 

Heartmelting! Is the only way to describe this great film! charming Cary Grant & the endearing Irene Dunne are the perfect match in this bittersweet drama about a man & woman who fall in love, get married and realize they can't have children. The idea of adoption is rejected by Grant who has his mind made up...well almost! The story has alot of good humor and sentimentality, as well as it's heartwrenching moments. You'll be so caught up, there won't be a dry eye in the place by the time it's over! 
One of my personal favorites!

A dark mysterious love story based on the book by Charlotte Brontë. Joan Fontaine is wonderful as the shy but intelligent rather 'plain Jane' who answers an ad for a governess to the daughter of a brooding and mysterious widower Rochester played by Orson Welles. The mystery is enhanced by the ancient castle and moorish setting complete with fog and candlelight!
Elizabeth Taylor has a small performance as the unfortunate girlfriend of the little Jane while she was a poor student at an orphanage run by a heartless and cruel taskmaster. You won't be disappointed!

A thrilling submarine cat and mouse game between a renegade russian nuclear sub commander who defects from the Soviet Union - sub, crew and all - and a U.S. sub sent out to destroy them before they reach the shores of the U.S.

A wacky and hillarious mideviel story read by a loving grampa (Columbo's Falk) to his bored and spoiled grandson (Fred Savage) who is home sick with the flu. In the end love conquers all.
