"
I Am The Bread of Life"
The
following is the purely scriptural text - which support
the Catholic Sacrament
of Holy Communion.
"Blessed
are you who believed
that what was spoken
to you by the Lord would be fulfilled."
(Luke
1:39-45)
| Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him." (John
6: 55-56) "Does
this shock you?" "What
if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
Jesus
knew from the beginning the ones who would not believe As
a result of this, many [of] his disciples Just
as you know not how the breath of life

| you would die of joy! ~ St. Jean Vianney |
For
we, being many, are one bread, one body,
all
that partake of one bread.

This web site is dedicated to the awesome, unfathomable Divine Love and Mercy
of Jesus Christ who came into this world to save us. This site was created with the desire to promote greater love and devotion to Jesus Crucified and His True Presence in the Blessed Sacrament found only in The One, True, Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. Having said that, it has always been this webmaster's understanding and intention that under this Catholic banner can also be found our dear Orthodox brothers and sisters. But for the sake of peace and the desire for greater unity among her Catholic members (in imitation of His Holiness Pope John Paul II) this webmaster wishes to clarify for our readers that the Orthodox Churches - although separated from us by unfortunate divisions - yet possess the true sacraments and above all share by apostolic succession, the priesthood and the Eucharist, whereby they are linked with us in closest intimacy. 'Mother of the Word Incarnate, Pray for us.' We would be also negligent if we failed to make mention of how vitally important and relevant the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Jesus is for us today. And how the great love and indebtedness the Church feels for the Great Mother of Our Lord - a feeling likewise shared by all the members of the Christ's church. She, who by her perfect life of charity, humility and suffering, reflected most beautifully the tender love of The Sacred Heart of her Divine Son Jesus. She who by her 'fiat' enabled the Son of Man to enter into the world. Has become for us our hope and security - for by her powerful intercession she obtains for her children great mercy and favor from God as she draws from the depths of His Mercy - as one draws water from a well. And who by her perfect unity to God's Will - even accepting the horrific death of her beloved son - cooperated intimately in the salvific effects of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus thus partaking in the saving grace of the human race - and of which we are all called to imitate. Jesus
chose to come into this world through Mary, 'And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.' It was St. Peter Julian Eymard who said, It was Mary who first adored the Incarnate Word. He was in her womb, and no one on earth knew of it. Oh! how well was our LORD served in Mary's virginal womb! Never has He found a ciborium, a golden vase more precious or purer than was Mary's womb! Mary's adoration was more pleasing to Him than that of all the Angels. The LORD hath set His tabernacle in the sun, says the Psalmist. The sun is Marys heart, and Mary is the aurora of the beautiful Sun of Justice. And as Mary said of herself, "My
soul doth magnify the Lord; And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my savior. Because
he hath regarded the humility of his handmaid; Because he that is
mighty, hath done great things to me; and holy is his name. And his mercy is from
generation unto generations, to them that fear him."(Luke
1:45-47)
It is our great hope to encourage people of the Catholic Faith represented in
all her members (Roman Rite, Byzantine Rite, Ukrainian Rite, Greek Rite,
Ruthenium Rite, Ambrosian Rite, etc. Coptic, Eastern and Orthodox Catholics) everywhere
to create quality inspirational websites emphasizing the awesome mysteries and
truths of our holy and enduring Great Faith. |

Because St. Martin [de Porres] was black and illegitimate he was insulted and
mistreated. He identified with Jesus, ignored and mistreated in the Blessed
Sacrament. As they consoled each other, Martin became more charitable, not
hostile, better not bitter. He would spend as many as eight hours each day
in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. (From
the book Letters To A Brother Priest) "O Israel! O holy soul! How grand a thing is the house of God, the Church which possesses so august a Sacrament. O amiable Jesus! Thy beloved disciple may well say that it was particularly at the end of Thy life, when Thou didst institute this inestimable mystery, that Thou didst give to us the most precious pledge, the most signal token of love! O incomprehensible goodness of God, to place it in our power to possess, whenever we wish, Him who ravishes the Angels, and who makes the happiness of all the Saints in Heaven! What more could we desire, Ah, why do not all Christians every day enjoy this great happiness, which God every day offers to us! Amen." (St.
Teresa) |

For
Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom,
but
we proclaim Christ Crucified,
a
stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles,
but
to those who are called, Jews and Greeks alike,
Christ
the power of God and the wisdom of God.
For
the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom,
and
the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

Corinthians 1:22-25
Humanity Lost Without The Gospel
God's
Power for Salvation
For
I am not ashamed of the gospel.
It
is the power of God for the salvation
of
everyone who believes;
for
Jew first, and then Greek.
For
in it is revealed the righteousness of God
from
faith to faith; as it is written,
"The
one who is righteous by faith will live."
Romans
1:16-17
But
if you partake of the sufferings of Christ,
rejoice
that when his glory shall be revealed,
you
may also be glad with exceeding joy.

Peter 4:13
"These
things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace.
"In the world
you shall have distress: but have confidence,
I
have overcome the world."
John
16:33
We
know that all things work for good for those who love God,
who are called
according to his purpose.
